We start with a superfast broadband supply at a location.
This broadband is transmitted via radio to our ‘hubs’ around the network. In turn this is transmitted to local properties.
Here is a typical hub. The dish transmits the data to and from the source and the long aerial at the top of the pole broadcasts it to nearby properties.
Each property receives the broadband signal using a small dish like this. They are usually about 8″ across.
Fast broadband is then delivered indoors to a wifi router via the cable wherever you like in your house.
At that is it, you have fast broadband.
